2. Lawful Grounds and Purpose of Data Processing
Your information is processed strictly for legitimate educational, service delivery, and compliance purposes:
- To generate secure OTP logins and maintain your user profile,
- To compute accurate test rankings, state-level percentiles, and subject diagnostic analytics,
- To auto-save your question attempts during active exam simulations to prevent loss of progress in case of network drops,
- To send critical updates regarding test schedules, admit card notifications, and syllabus changes via SMS or email,
- To detect and prevent unauthorized access, script automation, and cheating.
3. Financial Data & Payment Security Standards
Udaan Academy never stores payment card numbers, CVVs, expiry dates, or net banking passwords on its servers.
All monetary transactions are routed through RBI-authorized payment aggregators (such as Razorpay, Cashfree, and Bank UPI) using industry-standard TLS/SSL 256-bit encryption compliant with PCI-DSS standards.
4. Cookies, Session Tokens & Local Storage
We utilize secure session cookies and browser local storage strictly for essential operational functions:
- Maintaining authenticated login sessions across pages,
- Preserving unfinished mock test state and question bookmarks,
- Remembering preferred UI font sizes and layout settings.
We do not use third-party tracking cookies for targeted behavioral ad profiling.
